Summer Safety Tips for Pets
Tip #4
Stay Cool – Stay Hydrated
The temperature is soaring and the humidity is high 🌡
We are in the midst of a heat wave🔥
My fellow furfriends, please limit your outdoor exercise and consider indoor activities on hot days like today!
Stay cool and safe inside with air conditioning or fans and don’t forget to drink plenty of fresh water.
Heatstroke is a very real issue for dogs, especially brachycephalic and flat faced breeds like me.
So just sit back, relax, put your paws up in front of that fan and let your humans wait on you for the day 😉
Be safe, stay cool and contact your veterinarian immediately if you ever suspect heatstroke in your pet.
Tell us what does your dog do to keep active when it’s too hot and humid to safely play outside?

Henry is lazy and stretches out on the cool, hardwood floor. The air conditioning is on so Reese gets her exercise indoors playing fetch with her toys. Some days we’ll walk down to the lake and have a splash in the water.

How great is it to be able to walk down to the lake for a cool down!
