Edie’s Ontario SPCA – Pet of the Week

Well this is a new addition to the usual dogs and cats

BIRDS!

Just don’t let the cats hear about it 😉

The Ontario SPCA have an unusual amount of birds right now

They have Macaws

Amazon Parrots

Conures

and

Budgies

pintel

All the birds (excepts the budgies) came to the Ontario SPCA through an investigation case

The conditions they were being kept in were not healthy or acceptable and therefore the animals were removed from the home

They are looking for experienced bird owners for the Macaws and Amazon Parrots as these birds require a lot of attention and socializing

barbossa

Macaws and Amazon Parrots can live for 60+ years so this kind of pet is a life long commitment

The budgies were both found as strays
