Edie’s Ontario SPCA’s
Pet of the Week
Trix
Trix is a 4 year old Border Collie who has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
Trix was found as a stray and has been at the Ontario SPCA shelter since September 28th.
Although Trix can be shy with at first, it doesn’t take her long to warm up to people, and once she does, Trix would love to spend all day by your side or playing fetch!
Being a Border Collie, Trix has a natural instinct to herd, so she might do better in a home with no small animals.

Hi there, given you were thoughtful enough to post about Trix, I thought you might like to hear an update on her story. After spending time at Border Collie rescue (thank you SBC!!) Trix finally found here forever home in December 2014; she is very happy, very loved and enjoys lots of park play with her two border collie siblings. So it took a little while but she’s home for good.
Thanks

This is wonderful news for Trix!
I don’t always get to hear how pets are doing after they find their forever homes, so thank you so much for the update!
Lots of hugs to Trix and her siblings.
