It’s December in Canada and what does that mean for this pug?
The days of lounging in my sunspot, rolling in the warm grass and hanging out in the garden watching the squirrels go by are over for another season.
With snowy, cold Canadian winter days come short outdoor walks, quick potty trips to the garden and watching the squirrels from inside the house.
But it doesn’t have to be this way!
I can go outside, chase those pesky squirrels out of my garden, go for walks and visit the park in the comfort and warmth of my North Fetch Athletics™ jacket!
The North Fetch dog jackets have functional qualities that provides the ultimate winter protection for dogs; water-resistant material, great for repelling snow, and faux-down insulation to keep me cozy and warm, it also has a leash slit which is wonderful for dogs like me that wear a harness! The dog jacket is machine washable, something that my humom says is very important.
As you can see, the North Fetch jacket looks great on – if I do say so myself 😉 and I love the stylish hood that stays in place with an easy snap when I want to keep an eye out for squirrels, or if it’s blustery, just unsnap to keep the snow and wind off my face or out of my ears.
For dogs like me that are low to the ground, I like the full belly coverage with Velcro closure that helps keep me warm and dry from the winter elements.
This affordable quality dog jacket is inspired by human winter fashion – so now I can be just as fashionable as my human!
Pet parents will be able to see and feel for themselves the quality of the North Fetch dog jacket that is available exclusively at PetSmart.

I love the leash slit! It’s one of the first things we look for in a coat because it makes it so much more comfortable.
December 14, 2015
These coats are so cute!! I need to get a jacket for Sophie, my adventure cat, so she can go on outdoor adventures!
December 16, 2015
I’ve never known a cat to wear a coat! I would love to see a picture of that 🙂
December 14, 2015
Looking very smart & such a great fit… Red is definitely your color!
December 14, 2015

December 14, 2015
Your dog is the most adorable model. I admit that my pooch has a closet – yes his own wardrobe – and I would love to get him one of these North Fetch jackets.
December 14, 2015
Oh you are so kind Carol 🙂 Edie too has her own closet, she likes to be up to date on all the fashions 😉
December 13, 2015
I love how they make big sizes for us fluffy dogs. Wish their website was working.
December 14, 2015
The North Fetch dog jacket does come in sizes so even the big dogs can stay warm.
December 13, 2015
Oh gosh, Edie, you are SO stylish in that gorgeous coat! I love the name NorthFetch (play on the Northface). These coats are adorable; wish it got cold enough here!
December 14, 2015
Thanks Elizabeth! I’m sure to stay warm this winter.
December 13, 2015
I was not familiar with this brand of coats and I love the hoodie with the faux fur!
December 14, 2015
The faux fur hoodie is very fashionable indeed 🙂
December 13, 2015
I definitely love that the coat closes around the chest. A lot of coats don’t do that, but it keeps your pet’s core warm! Christie from lifewithbeagle.com
December 14, 2015
Yes Christie, it’s very important to keep covered up for optimum warmth.
December 13, 2015
What a nice warm jacket for those cold climates in the winter.
December 14, 2015
It’s a great dog jacket that’s sure to keep me warm this winter.
December 13, 2015
Aw Edie – deez is truly wonderful coats! U look pawesome! I’ll has to check em out!
December 14, 2015
Thanks Mattie 🙂
December 13, 2015
This is such a cute jacket! I love the furry hood. I’m in the northern US, so I know about that cold winter weather too. You have to keep warm! I think this is both fashionable and functional. It is great that it is machine washable too.
December 14, 2015
Yes! According to the humans, being able to machine wash is very important!
December 13, 2015
You look terrific! One of my dogs really loves wearing a jacket, one does not and I think the third is neutral about it.
December 13, 2015
Thank you Beth. We started Edie at a young age putting on sweaters and coats and she doesn’t seem to mind it. I think Edie knows they keep her warm and dry and prefers that to the alternative 😉
December 13, 2015
OMD mom is ROTHFLOL! She bought a Canada Goose parka and hates the fact that now they are so trendy there are knockoffs everywhere with a patch on the arm. Now the dogs have one too! But hopefully it is only in Canada so mom won’t get any ideas about us having matching coats. Love Dolly PeeS: Edie you look great and did a wonderful review!
December 13, 2015
Oh but I bet you would look great in matching coats 🙂
Thanks for the compliment and for the pawsitive feed back on my review of the North Fetch Athletic jacket!
December 13, 2015
Edie you look so cute and cosy in your Jacket! Red is your colour and love the hood. Very fashionable and will be so good when the weather gets cold. Kilo the Pug hates going outside in the cold too.
We got a new North Fetch jacket for Beau, Aria’s newly adopted little Frenchie as it will be his first winter. He wore it out on the first and only cold windy damp day and had a ball at the park.
Hope to see you and your Mom.
December 13, 2015
I love the colour red! Cold, wet weather are not the most fun for pugs like me and Kilo! I’m glad Beau enjoyed his new North Fetch coat and he was able to enjoy his day at the park 🙂
December 13, 2015
The jacket sounds warm. Down is so soft! And the hole for the leash is such a brilliant idea!
December 13, 2015
The jacket does keep me warm. And as a pug that uses a harness, the leash opening on the back is very important to me.
December 13, 2015
What awesome jackets. I have to get this for my babies.
December 13, 2015
Your babies will love the North Fetch jackets!
December 12, 2015
Wow — that fake fur does not look fake at all. Great photos, and I agree, it’s wonderful to cover the chest and underbelly of the dog in frigid temps!
December 13, 2015
The faux fur does look amazing on the hood! And speaking as a dog that is low to the ground, it’s very important to keep my underbelly warm and dry.
December 11, 2015
Aww…these coats are adorable as is Edie!
December 13, 2015
Oh now your just making me blush @pawsomecats 🙂
December 11, 2015
The North Fetch coats look awesome! We get a lot of rainy cold weather here, I will check them out! 😀
December 13, 2015
The North Fetch jacket will be sure to keep you warm and dry!
December 11, 2015

I bet it will keep you nice and warm this winter. 🙂
December 13, 2015
I love the colour red! And I know I will have no problems keeping warm this winter.
December 11, 2015
YOu look so stylish in your jacket. As a Basset Hound, Bentley needs his belly covered too. #LowRIdersUnite
December 13, 2015
LOL! “LowRidersUnite” 😉
December 11, 2015
These are so cute. I haven’t seen them in our #PetSmart though, that could be because we are in Southwest Florida #BOL not worried about snow. It would make a great gift for my brother’s dog a Boston Terrier living in New England Burr!!!
December 11, 2015
I guess being in Florida you don’t have to worry about being cold like us Canadian dogs 😉 I’m sure your brother’s dog would love a NorthFetch jacket to keep warm!
December 11, 2015
These jackets looks awesome!
